About Me
Who am I? I’m Tom Flesher, an Economics instructor at Suffolk County Community College on Long Island, New York.
This blog is where I post occasional thoughts and lessons on economics. It’s meant to be a bit less practical than my other blog, The World’s Worst Sports Blog, which focuses more on sabermetrics and economic analysis applied to baseball (and occasionally other sports). I try to keep these posts around 500 words and simple enough for undergraduate students to understand. I often use it to distill down major thoughts before I teach a lesson to a new group.
I’m the proud possessor of an MS in Economics from the University at Buffalo.
